Jazz is sweet, calm female and can be a bit shy when first meeting someone. Once she warms up, Jazz is nothing but love....her favorite thing is to get chin rubs and belly rubs and ear rubs and cuddles. Jazz is house trained. She loves a soft comfy bed and to be near her people. The only small dog she has been around seemed to frighten her and she has not been tested with cats or children, but she is an extremely gentle dog. Jazz and her friend Rusty were rescued from a neglect situation in Arizona, and even though they were starved and neglected, Jazz is a very gentle eater. She takes treats very gently and is just so appreciative when she gets treats and affection.
Jazz's foster parents say that she has learned to walk so well on a leash. She has learned some basic commands: stop, sit, lay down...just the easy stuff for now. Jazz would walk/jog with a person all day, if they wanted to. She loves to be out and about with her family. She is learning to enjoy a bath once a week. However, she is still a little skittish of the hose. She is a wonderful, loving dog. Jazz and her best friend Rusty enjoy relaxing with their friends, and they are so happy and loved in their foster home that they even like to play like puppies again.
