Waylon is a sweet guy that had a bad begining. Waylon neeeds another big dog in the home close to his age and someone who understands he may always be shy and not a dog that wants to go places but rather  a dog that is a homebody. Once he knows you and his home and area he is great  but new places for him are scary. He doesnt get aggressive, just scared. He needs someone that can accept that in him and understand his background. He is from Fresno and lived with 2 other mastiffs and a single guy owner. The owner had some mental health issues and did not leave the house often. Owner commited sucide and the dogs were left guarding his body for 4 days and when police arrived the dogs were cuddled around the owner. Very sad situation and it explains why the dogs are great in the home but most likely never left the ome except for the vet office. He does fine at the vet office just timid and scared. He is a true rescue and none of it his fault. We are very selective in chosing his home we really want to set him up for success and not failue. when doing something new he always huddles next to any dog male or female for comfort and for direction hence the confident female dog would be a good match for him.  He is going to be a sweet cuddler and awesome companion for a lucky family
