About HENNA

  • Status: Adopted!
  • Species: Dog
  • Housetrained: Yes
My name is Henna and I used to go to doggy day care until covid happened.  The reason I am in rescue is because everything became super stressful at home and my 4 legged sister and I got into a fight over a bone and then food. My mom got super anxious about it happening again when she wasn't home so she decided it was best to allow me to go to rescue. I lived with a little girl but I can take kids or leave them.  I will let you know when I need to go outside by ringing a bell we have hanging on the back door. I am free roaming in the house when mom is gone and I have nice house manners. I don't chew or ruin things. I LOVE jolly balls and rope toys. I eat Victor Performance 1 1/2 cups twice a day to keep my weight down and my girlish figure.  I know  Sit, down, heel, bell for food as far as commands go. I am 3 years old . I am dog friendly but can be picky with sharing some toys we call these a high value resource. I love to go for walks and I LOVE swimming and when I  am done I like to sun bathe. My mom sent me to training but when I got bigger she was worried she could not walk me on a leash so stopped walking me. I am looking for a owner that knows the breed and won't worry so much. When my mom gets worried about life I get worried to and want to protect her, after all that is my job. I think that stressed my mom out even more me trying to protect her so someone that has good leadership skills would be a great fit for me. I can't wait to find my forever home I miss being someones dog.
