Meet Callie- Callie is a sad case of the owner dumping her and she then ended up becoming a shop dog. Poor Callie is a sweet mellow and a little afraid of life girl. Callie was once loved and lived in a home and was a family member. At some point and we are not sure why the owner decided she should be a guard dog and live at a business. Poor Callie ended up with very little love and human contact. When the shop owner decided he needed a Real guard dog he dumped Callie at the shelter where she was kenneled with another dog that constantly picked on her. We do know Callie is very gentle and very sweet. We know she is gentle on a leash and knows sit and down. We had out walking on a leash today and sat her down to do pictures and she buried her head in the volunteers lap and tucked her tail and tried to make herself very small. Callie is a very gentle soul who would love to have a family to love.Callie is not destructive and is not a barker. She does love her doggy bed and to lay in the sun. We would recommend children over the age of 8 to 10 yrs old as she does better in a quiet type of home. Callie is house trained and knows her basic commands of sit and down. Callie is 3 to 4 yrs old.
