Shelby came to us via the shelter in CA. She was taken from her owners and brought to the shelter with her newborn puppies. They were removed in the nick of time from the neglect at their former home. Shelby had 9 pups and 7 survived. This wonderful girl was so horribly skinny when we saved her, and she almost gave her life to feed and save her puppies. Shelby is now 2 months out from having pups, and she is feeling and looking like a new girl! She has good food, love, a soft bed, and lots of friends. Shelby is looking forward to having a family of her own that will love her and care for her forever. Shelby is house trained and as sweet as a dog can get. There's something special about her...well, we think a lot of things special about her. She is a loyal girl and will be by your side and want nothing more than your approval and some petting and loving. Shelby is an AMAZING dog and wonderful so far with all other dogs she meets.
