Piper she is our special needs dog looking for her new home. Piper is from Nogalas and was found and turned into to animal care and control there. Thankfully one of our volunteers contacted us to let us know about this sweet girl. Piper is a 2 to 3 yrs old neo that has one eye removed. Her other eye has entropian and we will be correcting that with surgery. However that means she really doesn't see all that well. She is Very loving and wants nothing more then to be with her people and getting pet. But she will need a special home where maybe there is another large breed male dog and older children or a adult only home. She met a small dog nose to nose and had no reaction but would suggest a quiet small dog and you would need to monitor together until both settled in together .She is fine with children but she does better in a quiet type home. Piper is very low key and easy to manage, she loves to sleep on nice dogs beds and really doesn't need a lot of room. We do not know why or how she lost her other eye but can only imagine how scary life must be when she doesn't see that well and had no idea where she was going when she started that long trip to Phx. We would love to find that special home that would like to do a foster to adopt and get to know her to make sure she is a good fit. Piper is such a doll and a volunteer favorite.
