Hicks is a nice ddb that is a little shy so we suggest no younger kids. He needs a owner that is going to be patient and take time to let him meet knew people and see new surroundings. Hicks most likely was gotten as a pup and put in a home and never left. So he will be shy when meeting new people and doing new things. He is al puppy when he knows his surroundings and is a sweet loving dog that wil bond quickly with a owner. When dogs are not taken out as pups they tend to not know how to be around other dogs and sadly this is Hicks.
