Sawyer is a beautifully bred Bullmastiff he is from a nice pedigree and a true Bullmastiff.
As most he is fine with a female dog or as an only dog we are not placing with another male.
He is crate trained and house trained and has nice manners.

Sawyer is 2 years 1/2 years old. His health has been overall very good.
He did always have good reports about his relationships with the teens in previous home. So no young toddlers right now.
He has visited my house and has played well in the past with the Brittany’s and bullmastiffs here. This time, he has only interacted with his sister and his mom, recently, when they came out of season. The female Brittanys have been coming into heat once his mom and sister went out. He has never been around small dogs nor cats. He has visited with my horse. He does not quite seem to understand them.
I would not put him with other male dogs. He had an issue with my dominant male brittany who challenged him. The other two male Brittanys he has not had an issue with but he has not interacted with during free play.
He is definitely food motivated for training. He eats 4-5 cups of pro plan salmon with a probiotic, glucosamine and dental powder added with lots of water. I feed him in his crate in a raised bucket.
He knows sit well and stay fairly well. He can go down on command. He understands wait and leave it but needs some continuing practice. He needs more work on loose lead healing; his old owners sent him with the prong collar which is what they used to walk him. He did ok with a chain collar at Home Depot.
He walked through Home Depot and Sawyer did well there with children who petted his back and gave him treats.
He is protective of his people and can be wary of strangers at the house. He was crate trained.
He is fed in his crate.
