Pookie is a breathtakingly beautiful Cane Corso with a gentle soul and a story that tugs at the heart. Between one and two years old, this sweet girl lost everything in the California fires—including her home and her family. When no one came to claim her, the amazing team at the Pasadena Humane Society held onto hope, giving her time and love while waiting for someone to come. Sadly, no one ever did.

Despite everything she’s been through, Pookie’s heart remains open. She’s dog-friendly, loves to cuddle, and has a soft spot for toys. While she can be a little shy when faced with something new, she warms up quickly with gentle reassurance. She would thrive in a home where someone is around more often—someone who can give her the time, stability, and love she deserves.
