Meet Lucy Lucy came to us via The county animal shelter Woof Under The Roof at metro center. Lucy is very sweet and a volunteer had met the dog and could not get her off of her mind so we decided to take this sweet girl and give a chance at a new life. We have Lucy in a foster home with 3 other dogs including small and both male and female. She is doing Fantastic! We have so far not observed any resource guarding and in fact just seems to want to love everyone when she is not playing. She has a little docked tail and it never seems to stop wagging. We are crate training her and we do have cats in the foster home so we will see how she does with cats. Lucy is also house trained and not destructive in the home and is in fact just a little gentle soul who is so happy at getting a second chance. There are children in the home as well and so far she is awesome with them, so children over the age of 6 yrs should be fine. Lucy is a short haired beautiful Orange, red color with fawn brindle. Lucy is maybe 100lbs and we are not sure what she is mixed with. Lucy has kennel cough and needs a eye surgery for Entropian which means her eye lashes roll inwards. We will be fixing her eyes after the kennel cough is gone and then she will be ready for adoption.
