Meet Jake- Jake came from Globe,AZ and was found wandering the desert. Animal Control called us and asked us if we would take this beautiful mastiff/dane mix boy  into rescue. Jake is a beautiful sweet and somewhat shy boy. He appears to be house trained and is gentle on a leash. When going new places he tends to hang back for just a moment and then slowly will go wherever you want him to go. Just in the day we have had him he has already come out of his shell and goes up and now greets people so he can get attention. He wants to bond with people and likes to play with other dogs and if other dogs are barking and growling he will just take a step or two back and other then that is very non reactive. He is very gentle and allows you to bathe him and clean his ears. We think because of his good condition that he may have been abandoned and was only out there maybe a day or 2 at most. He looks loved and cared for and has a sweet temperament. He is young maybe 1 8 months to 2 yrs old.
