Hooch is a young Dogue de Bordeaux mix found running on a street in Fountain Hills this past summer. He was wearing a collar without tags, didn’t have a chip and we have not been able to find his owner.
Now he is up-to-date on his shots and is chipped. The vet thinks he is 1 – 2 years old.
Hooch is a very strong, kind and friendly dog who needs a strong owner.
He loves to go for walks. He has learned how to ‘heel’ but needs reminders (unfortunately he only gets walked 3 times/week). He sometimes focuses on other dogs but is learning not to do that with a simple “no”, or “leave it”.
He can sit and if you say “gentle” he will gently take a treat out of your hands.
He just wants to be loved and have a family and a home. He will put his front paws on your shoulders and kiss you all over.
And even though he is big and strong, he wiggles from his nose to the tip of his tail when he knows he is going for a walk and get some attention.
