This is Ivan..handsome,loving, young and cuddly Ivan. Ivan is a cute, funny, two year old English Mastiff that LOVES people and kids, but Ivan doesn't like most other dogs. We can relate...sometimes you don't want to share your forever family with a pack. Ivan is in Colorado with a really wonderful couple that wanted to give him a forever home, and they are heartbroken that he seemed to like their first dog, but doesn't like any of their other dogs. Let's find Ivan the perfect home where he can be the center of attention and live the wonderful life he deserves! He needs your help finding that home. Ivan was pulled from Santa Cruz County Animal Control where he was picked up as a stray. He is such a sweet boy and loves to cuddle, roll over for belly rubs, and hang out with his human friends and family. He likes watching TV but says he would let you choose the show. He's not picky. He would also gladly listen to you sing along with the radio, and he would tell you that you had the nicest singing voice he's ever heard. Ivan knows sit and down, and has really nice manners in the house. He is also potty trained. He has some wear on his teeth from trying to chew out of a cage or crate. He is glad he escaped to find a better life, and so are we because he is going to make a family very happy. During his recent vet visit for a regular check-up, he let the vet poke and prod him with no reaction other than "don't get in the way of all the vet tecs rubbing my belly and telling me how handsome I am." Ivan takes treats like a true gentleman, and he likes all people he has met. He wants a forever family that will love him and give him a soft bed and will never leave him alone in a cage on a hard surface in the backyard again.
