My name is Luna, I am from San Diego,CA where I was dumped into a shelter by my owners. This nice rescue came and got me and told me that I would be in a safe place and loved and cared for from that day forward. I was skinny and had a open wound by my tail. The nice rescue took me to the vet and healed the wound and I found I wasn't hungry anymore and had food everyday.
I got bit by a spider and had a huge wound all the way down to the bone. The vet said I would lose my leg but I would be alright since I am a smaller girl and could get around with 3 legs no problem.
I have had my surgery and the Vet was Right! I get around just fine on 3 legs, I run and spin and play and I don't even remember having that fourth leg. Now my foster mom said it is time to find me a home where I can be cherished and loved. So I am ready and want so badly to have "that forever home" everyone keeps talking about they say it is better then the foster home and you get so much more attention. I am SO EXCITED!! I just can't wait for the Furever home. I am being fostered with many dogs however I do get jealous so you may have to watch me at first, until I settle down and realize its going to last  Forever and not a just a day. I am even good with small dogs and I have not been tested with cats yet. I am crate trained and I am not destructive in the home. When the foster mom goes to work I get to stay out with the other 3 legged dog Bonnie we Love to lay on the dog beds and snooze our day away. I am gentle on a leash and can go for shorter walks. I have to maintain my weight, but right now I have a cute girlish figure. I am fine with kids if they treat me right.
