Many rescue dogs come to our organization in the need of special care, at least in the initial transition period. What behavior or training issues (if any) do you see your dog needing? These may include leash training, basic socialization, compatibility with cats/dogs, resource guarding. *
Is there any certain behavior that would cause you to return the rescue dog to the rescue and you are not willing to work with or seek out a trainer for?
Are you interested in foster care to a Mastiff while awaiting the Mastiff of your choice?
Describe the ideal dog for you (and/or your family). What personality, disposition, energy level or general traits would make up the ideal dog to suit your current lifestyle? And list from the most important to the least important.
Example- we take our dogs to the dog park. That will let us know the dog you are looking for Must be able to go to a dog park with unknown dogs.
Example- We have many different children over or we do child care in the home. That tells us that the rescue dog must be able to function in that type of environment? *
I understand that UPON PLACEMENT of a rescued Mastiff in my home there is a donation, donations for
most dogs start at $600.00 and can be more, that may vary depending on age. Seniors 6 yrs and older will be less.
Purebred Litters of pups will be more then 600.
We ask if you can not afford the donation can you afford the dog?
The Mastiff Breeds are bigger and therefore cost more for Surgery,Meds,Food and General Vet care.
We are a 501c3 Non Profit Org so that means you may write the donation off on your taxes.
The Donation you pay goes to help the next Mastiff in need.
